![]() ![]() I feel so stupid for realizing it later on especially that Jonaxx is known for this way of writing. However, I realized it was written that way because the early chapters was told from Fely's POV 2 years after the accident and her not elaborating the accident is because of her trauma and because, technically, wala siyang malay. I have to stop for a minute para maintindihan yung nangyari sa kanya. I'll admit there are times where I felt like masyadong mabilis yung pacing (e.g. But the way it was written is one of the best, like a movie in form of words giving us a frontrow seat of a beautiful romantic movie. The plot is not unique, sunshine x grumpy where MC will eventually meet an accident and will go into hiding (as for the reason, you have to read it for yourself). (I might or might not have put spoilers onwards, please read at your own risk!) LITD is unarguably one of the most sought-after Jonaxx stories and I must say the author never disappoint. We can't deny the fact that ever since the release of Sands of Time, we've been curious about the story of Raj's parents. Just a re-read but still one of my all time favorite Jonaxx stories! I need to reread SoT to remember if Rao’s love is similar to his father (I think it is). Grabe din yung last scene, of how contented he was in that hut with his family, I love it so much. I wish I could read more of those (kahit na masakit) and if there is one thing that I’d like to see, iyon sana yung mas detailed scene nung meeting nila sa Biliran - of how shocked he was. You can feel how deep his love was for Fely and how her “death” consumed him. Partida pa andaming iniskip na scenes pero grabe yung atake. I’m not sure if I’ve ever said this to the other CLS boys pero Hades’ POV is one of the best Jonaxx POVs (or rather the best) I’ve read. Nakatulong na din na biglang nafeel ko na wala na talaga si Hades, so ayun habang nagbabasa ako, may mga part na hindi ko napigilang umiyak - especially towards the end. May mga parts pa rin na I can really do without but after my re-read, I was able to internalize more. Good thing I did because I like it better than the first time. Medyo weird lang, kasi binasa ko yung story nina Anton nang walang inaasahan, and in the end, it blew me away.įresh from Ares’ story, binasa ko ulit ito. Hindi ko din gaanong nagustuhan siguro kasi galing tayo sa kwento ni Annaliese, si Annaliese na kaibabae, tapos biglang nagshift kay Felicia. Unfortunately, it failed to blow me away :( One thing that I don't like (apparently) are spoiled brats, and Felicia reminded me so much of Zari (IoF is my least fave among the third gen). Soleil and Raj's story is my favorite among the third generation, and knowing how Jonaxx likes to pattern the 2nd gen's story to that of the third (well, at least at some parts), I was expecting to be blown away by Love in the Dark. However, if there is one thing that I always keep on forgetting it is this: the less expectations, the better. I really tried hard to love this (because I have a lot of expectations).
